Community Dinners: Monthly community meals coupled with an academic enrichment activity (art, science, etc.)
Parent Advisory Committee: The Parent Advisory Council (“PAC”) is a representative body that provides the perspective of parents to the Principal, Executive Director, and the Board of Directors. The PAC meets monthly, provides parent feedback on school policies and procedures to the elected parent representatives, helps develop and implement quality standards for the school, encourages parent and public involvement in the school, and helps to organize fundraisers and volunteer opportunities.
The PAC is seeking to have a parent representative for each classroom to facilitate communication among everyone in the class, assist with special events, aid in notification of individual classroom needs and procuring supplies, and possibly develop an interest in becoming a board member for future school years.
Roots & Branches Gala: Signature annual fundraising event for the school. Silent auction, music, and casino games. Traditionally held in May.
Girl Scouts: Troop 2087 calls Roots & Branches home.
Garden Club: Manages our community garden.
